Warranty Information
Every Alron Construction roofing project is backed by both our workmanship warranty and the manufacturer's material warranty. Here is exactly what is covered.
Alron Workmanship Warranty
Alron Construction provides a workmanship warranty on all roofing installations. This warranty covers defects in our installation work — including flashing, fastening, underlayment, and all other installation-related components — for a period from the date of installation completion. The specific warranty term for your project will be stated in your written contract.
Roof Repairs
Covers workmanship on targeted repair work, including flashing, fastening, and patching.
Standard Replacement
Covers full roof replacement installations using standard roofing systems.
Premium Systems
Available on qualifying premium roofing systems. Specific terms stated in your written contract.
What Is Covered
- Improper installation of roofing materials
- Flashing failures caused by installation errors
- Fastening defects that cause material failure
- Underlayment installation defects
- Workmanship-related water infiltration
What Is Not Covered
- Storm damage after installation
- Damage caused by others working on the roof
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Damage caused by acts of nature
- Pre-existing conditions documented at time of installation
Warranty terms are stated in your written contract. Warranty coverage applies to workmanship defects only and does not cover storm damage, acts of nature, damage by third parties, or normal wear and tear. Manufacturer material warranties are separate and provided directly by the manufacturer.
Manufacturer Warranties
Alron Construction registers manufacturer warranties on your behalf after installation. Manufacturer warranties cover defects in the roofing materials themselves — not installation workmanship. The two warranties work together to provide comprehensive coverage.
GAF
Timberline HDZ, Timberline CS, and other GAF shingle lines
25 to lifetime depending on product line. GAF Golden Pledge warranty available through certified contractors.
Owens Corning
Duration, TruDefinition Duration, and other OC shingle lines
Limited lifetime warranty on most product lines. Preferred Contractor designation provides access to enhanced warranty programs.
CertainTeed
Landmark, Presidential, and other CertainTeed shingle lines
SureStart PLUS warranty available through certified installers. Coverage from 25 years to lifetime depending on product.
How to Use Your Warranty
Contact Alron First
For any roofing issue after installation, contact Alron Construction first at (321) 639-0911. We will assess whether the issue is covered under our workmanship warranty or the manufacturer warranty.
Inspection and Documentation
We will inspect the issue and document our findings. If the issue is workmanship-related, we will repair it at no charge. If it is a material defect, we will coordinate the manufacturer warranty claim on your behalf.
Repair or Replacement
Warranty work is completed promptly. We stand behind our work and want every customer to be satisfied with their Alron installation for the life of the roof.
